Where is the XML sitemap published?
It is usually published at the root of the domain, for example https://yourdomain.com/sitemap.xml, and also declared in robots.txt.
Should all pages be included in the sitemap?
No. Only canonical, useful URLs that are suitable for indexing should be included. It is not recommended to include filters, duplicates, private pages, or URLs with noindex.
Does a sitemap force indexing?
No. A sitemap helps with discovery, but Google and other systems decide whether to crawl, interpret, and index each URL.
